Nature Retreats
With Alex Comer
“We need the tonic of wildness…”
Henry David Thoreau, Walden, 1854
A retreat is often defined as, “A quiet or secluded place in which one can rest and relax.” A Nature Retreat does just that: it provides the space and time for sole dedication to you; to realign with your Self, your needs and goals. When we attune with the wild facets of ourselves in Nature we can harness and foster positive growth experiences in our lives.

The wild self is an all-natural innate facet of our being. Although it can be a vast source of information and understanding, we don’t necessarily connect with the wild part of ourselves in our everyday life. However, the solution is simple: we can make time in a retreat to return to the restorative source of Nature to help us rediscover our innate wildness. From time to time, we need the tonic of wildness.
